About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our finance department at Links International. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support for our firm's LPMS, including Aderant Expert Sierra and Intapp, and assist with implementation projects for these financial systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • LPMS Technical Support: Provide technical support for our firm's LPMS, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring seamless operation.
  • Aderant Expert Sierra and Intapp Implementation: Assist with implementation projects for Aderant Expert and other integrated financial systems, including SSRS reports, budgeting, expert billing and collections, time entry, paperless pre-bills, and generic importer.
  • Finance Team Support: Collaborate closely with the finance team, administrative staff, and external vendors on issues related to the LPMS.
  • Clustered SQL Environment Support: Offer technical support for our firm's clustered SQL environments and develop SQL queries.
  • User Security and Access Management: Help maintain user and matter security within the LPMS.
  • Stored Procedures Development: Develop and troubleshoot stored procedures to improve system efficiency and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the Firm's financial applications and independently propose and execute improvement solutions.
  • Customization and Reporting: Customize forms and build inquiries/reports using Aderant Expert customization tools.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records documenting procedures, methodologies, and sources of information employed during analytical tasks.
  • Quality Delivery: Ensure quality and timely delivery of all work.
  • Team Collaboration: Promote effective work practices and work as a team member.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in Accounting or Finance and the required experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience supporting legal and/or financial software platforms (e.g., Aderant, Elite 3E, IntApp).
  • SQL Skills: Experience implementing and troubleshooting scripts using SQL.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Experience collaborating with vendors to facilitate application support and incident management.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm, including strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles, systems, practices, controls, and procedures.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to work independently to research, analyze, and troubleshoot complex problems and solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and knowledge of LPMS and financial applications.
  • Articulation Skills: The ability to articulate complex technologies to non-technical people and help technical staff understand business requirements better.
  • Cultural Competence: The ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the Firm.
  • Self-Starter Attitude: A self-starter attitude with a high level of initiative and strong customer service skills, able to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment.
  • Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, allowing effective communication with all levels of the Firm and outside vendors.
