Role

As a key member of the Jefferies Hong Kong team, the Client Onboarding Specialist will support the equity and fixed income divisions in the AsiaPac region with processing new business client onboarding requests.

The role involves liaison with other Jefferies areas such as Front and Middle Offices, Legal, Compliance, and Static Data.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Client Outreach and Engagement
  • Tracking client responses and updating records
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding
  • Producing status reports to stakeholders
  • Supporting the COB London team with the onboarding of new business

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Minimum five years' experience in a KYC related project or within a Client Onboarding team
  • Knowledge of the HK SFO investor categorisation requirements
  • Relevant experience of onboarding clients/brokers on UK account carriers
  • Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge/experience of US Onboarding requirements and US CDD rule desirable
