About this role

We're currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Client Onboarding Specialist to join our team at Citi Private Bank. As a key member of our onboarding team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring a quick and seamless onboarding and account opening experience for our clients
  • Onboarding new client relationships and additional members by completing client risk profiles and process relationship updates using Citi onboarding applications
  • Processing account opening or maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Liaising with downstream partners until requests are completed and maintaining constant communication with banking team partners
  • Ensuring all documentation received is current, accurate and complete
  • Partnering with KnowYourClient (KYC) Teams, the Account Opening division, and other product partners to ensure expedient, efficient and seamless processing
  • Providing the highest level of customer service and teamwork to Banking teams and other internal partners
  • Continuously innovating by analyzing our onboarding processes and systems to ensure we are as efficient and effective as possible
  • Engaging with technology to design, build, and test new or updated applications
  • Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

About you

We're looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, who is detail-oriented and has a passion for innovation. You should have a strong understanding of banking operations, compliance, and risk management. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
