We are seeking a highly skilled IT Delivery Manager to join our team at HSBC. This role offers a unique opportunity to unlock new possibilities and take your career to the next level.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT Delivery Manager to lead complex technology deliveries across multiple teams and value streams. The successful candidate will have experience in Scrum Master/IT Delivery Management, leading high-value technology deliveries, and collaborating with vendors.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and risk management expertise. Familiarity with Agile methodology and frameworks, including backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, user stories, and others, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for IT software delivery management, including global software development and market deployment
  • Lead project implementation with delivery/sprint plan, including dependencies, risks, and assumptions
  • Manage risks and dependencies, resolve/escalate impediments, and optimize flow of work through delivery teams with effective RAID management
  • Advocate and involve in software development practices, including DevOps and CI/CD
  • Own tracking of spend against budgets in line with financial best practice
  • Cochain team members on Agile practices and provide guidance to teams with SAFe Agile Ways of Working
  • Drive adoption of HSBC project standards and work in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all times
  • Organize and facilitate planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and PI planning
  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution to improve team productivity while promoting continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Experience in Scrum Master/IT Delivery Management
  • Experience of leading complex and high-value technology deliveries with multiple teams across multiple Value Streams/Agle Teams (frontend to backend)
  • Experience on CI/CD – tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub
  • Experience in global solution development and market deployment
  • Experience in banking industry and digital is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in conversational products and modern conversational AI is preferred
  • Knowledge in software implementation and release on cloud (GCP), Full stack, Java, Microservice, and/or API
  • Experience in managing and collaborating with vendors
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and risk management
  • Familiar with Agile methodology and frameworks
