- Coordinate with global, regional, and local project managers to develop the Core Banking book of work in the Asia Pacific region.
- Participate in the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to product launch, working in a DevOps & Agile environment.
- Collaborate closely with IT, Transformation, and business teams to drive project delivery and propose IT solutions that meet client and business requirements.
- Present solutions to local, regional, and global stakeholders at a detailed level, ensuring their understanding and sign-off.
- Perform hands-on solution design, provide guidance to development teams, and coordinate testing and defect management.
- Produce project documentation and actively participate in product control group meetings to prepare backlogs for work prioritization.
- Demonstrate end-to-end ownership of deliverables for global and regional business, ensuring successful system deliveries according to agreed requirements, timescales, and budget.
- Provide functional support to IT teams and ensure compliance with internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of IT software engineering experience with a focus on technology delivery and project delivery.
- Solid domain knowledge and over 10 years of experience in Core Banking HUB Transaction Banking/Account/Lending/Finance.
- Solid experience in handling critical production incidents and the ability to act as technical lead during incident recovery.
- Experience in CL, RPG, DB2, and the iSeries platform.
- Experience in Core Banking services.
- Experience in Java would be an advantage.
- Experience and understanding of DevOps and Agile.
- Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business sense with a good understanding of how IT systems impact business objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure, with tight schedules.
- Ability to embrace changes and an open mindset to pursue the latest technology.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English.
- Fluent spoken Mandarin for working with Agile Teams in China.
