Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Vice President to join our Capital Management & ALCO Support Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team to support Consumer Finance Business, Call Center, Credit Approval, and workflow-related applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team to support Consumer Finance Business, Call Center, Credit Approval, and workflow-related applications.
  • Manage development and deployment projects of new functions to fulfill business requirements.
  • Manage enhancements to support day-to-day operations and compliance needs.
  • Manage support of application systems in production.
  • Plan and manage approved resources and budgets.
  • Update system development status on a regular basis.
  • Assist in annual technology plan preparation.
  • Handle and support production incidents.
  • Liaise and work closely with business users, Data Centre, Infrastructure Support team, and external vendors for projects, capacity planning, and daily support.
  • Provide ongoing supports and improvements for Banking Business, Auditors, compliance, and/or regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in team administration functions under Workflow & Credit Card Application.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in the banking/finance sector.
  • Strong background and experience with Consumer Finance Business, Call Center, Credit Approval, and Workflow-related application is an advantage.
  • Experience in scalable banking projects on Windows-based and Web-based platforms is a preference.
  • In-depth knowledge and sound practices on project management and SDLC standards and applies them consistently and persistently.
  • Knowledge in compliance and regulations of the banking industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, team player, able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
