We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to join our Partnership & Business Development team in Hong Kong. This role will focus on developing and managing large-scale shopping mall and tourist complex partnerships within the pop culture space, specifically with Jpop and Kpop.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in partnership/business development, event marketing, media/advertising sales or a related field, with a strong track record of identifying, securing and managing successful partnerships and media/advertising sales in the entertainment industry.

A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, media or a related field is required. Excellent communication skills in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, with strong presentation and project management abilities, are essential. Familiarity with the media, advertising, retail, hospitality and/or entertainment industries, particularly within the Jpop/Kpop and broader music sectors, is highly valued.

This role offers a competitive salary of HKD 550,000 - 700,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including medical insurance, pension scheme and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with media companies, advertising agencies and entertainment brands to explore collaborative opportunities in pop culture.
  • Proactively identify and pitch new advertising and sponsorship prospects within the music and entertainment sectors; negotiate contracts and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising and sponsorship activations featuring entertainment elements.
  • Analyze advertising and sponsorship performance data to optimize media offerings and maximize revenue generation in the entertainment context.
  • Identify, pitch, negotiate and secure partnership agreements for temporary or seasonal activations, pop-up shops and promotional events related to music and entertainment.
