Job Description

ZPEED Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a focus on acquiring new retail and e-commerce clients.

The role involves developing a sales strategy to meet KPI targets, identifying new business trends, and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with potential clients and the internal marketing team to develop and implement marketing programs.

The company overview includes expanding Hong Kong's Business Development department, focusing on acquiring more retail, fast fashion, and regional e-commerce marketplace clients. The company is a global payment leader with a strong presence in Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sales strategy to meet KPI targets
  • Hunt and sign up new key & enterprise accounts (E-Commerce/ Marketplace)
  • Develop new sales opportunities through the early and timely identification of new business trends
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of new business, identify opportunities, and lead all aspects of deal execution
  • Collaborate with potential key clients and the internal marketing team to develop and implement marketing programs as necessary

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of relevant experience in Business Development/Sales/Client Acquisition (Hunter)
  • Industry knowledge in Payment/E-Commerce/Fintech domain areas
  • Existing relationships or relevant experiences in dealing with local and regional retail, fast fashion, and e-commerce marketplace clients (big plus)
  • Good communication skills, proactive, and can work in a lean startup culture
  • Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
