Channel Sales Director

We are seeking a talented individual to join our marketing, distribution & partnership team as a Senior Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Channel Head in driving sales strategy for mapped accounts, aligning with the channel's overall direction.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing and executing business plans and initiatives
  • Leading a unit of PDMs to achieve business targets
  • Developing new business ideas and leading the continuous development of the Brokerage channel sales platform
  • Sales management with subordinates and reviewing the business performance of mapped accounts regularly in accordance with sales KPIs
  • Strengthening and maintaining good relationships with respective partners and their key personnel to drive and implement new initiatives, unleash business potential, and penetrate the business market share
  • Providing all levels of support to key partners to capture business opportunities
  • Penetrating TRs and facilitating them to deliver quality, compliant, and consistent business
  • Conducting regular reviews on business performance and sales quality practice of the brokers to ensure compliance with AIA's business standards and principles
  • Driving and managing digital enablement utilization both internally and externally
  • Continuing to grow subordinates with ongoing career development planning
  • Providing on-the-job coaching for subordinates and supporting them in handling day-to-day partner-related issues
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university/college graduate with at least 6 years of relevant experience and 2 years of managerial experience preferred
  • Demonstration of self-motivated and self-driven personality and ability to work independently
  • Good organizing and management skills
  • Good insurance and investment product knowledge
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Obtaining relevant licenses if the job involves regulated activities
