Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Strategy Planning to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing overall Partnership Distribution business and performance monitoring at aggregate level, as well as supporting Group Partnership Distribution (GPD) business development and management presentation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management reports for Group Distribution business performance on a timely and accurate basis, evaluating business performance including key driver analytics for business forecast and projection.
  • Support the aggregate level performance management by providing insights and analytics to craft the strategic vision and identify the best methodologies and key issues impacting corporate and business strategy.
  • Support data and analytics project and initiatives, build performance dashboard, Group Partnership Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive aggregated Group Partnership level business and financial performances review, proactive improvement of KPI tracking mechanisms.
  • Work closely with relevant parties on Group projects and initiatives, conduct topic research on demand focusing on new business opportunities/partnership business including bancassurance, IFA, Brokerage, Direct Marketing etc, and external macro environment trends.
  • Develop internal and external management presentations and reports with analysis and business solutions which bring group-wide impacts, boost business growth and drive strategic KPIs.
  • Provide business performance data and analysis support for ongoing business performance tracking and annual strategy planning activities.

Requirements

  • Experience (6-8 years) in financial planning, business strategy and business analytics in the insurance industry; knowledge in insurance products and operation process will be a plus.
  • Shown research capabilities, highly resourceful on both primary and secondary information.
  • Ability to structure PowerPoint using narratives that bring out key messages and illustrative visuals.
  • Skilful on data analysis and summarizing based on extensive information.
  • Possess proficiency in data management and information usage, strong skills in data visualization (Power BI), excel and PowerPoint presentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills.
  • Good teammate with strong interpersonal skill.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English communication is a must. Candidate who can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred.
