Sales Director

Job Summary:
As a Country Business Development Manager at MVC Resources, you will be responsible for managing and developing territory sales plans aligned with annual brand business plans and region objectives. You will directly oversee the results and development of all sales channels present in your country, including Bakery, Industry, Gelato, Food Service, and Retail. Your primary goal will be to maximize contribution margin according to established goals with aggressive price and promotion management, contract management, and new product development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing territory sales plans aligned with annual brand business plans and region objectives.
- Directly responsible for the results and development of all sales channels present in your country.
- Managing direct distributor accounts according to established sales and revenue goals.
- Supporting the sales force in achieving objectives and providing direct support by participating in key sales negotiations.
- Improving effective relationships with key end-user accounts to drive distribution volume.
- Maintaining effective sales forecasts.
- Researching new leads and targets for market development via distribution.
- Maximizing contribution margin according to established goals with aggressive price and promotion management, contract management, and new product development projects.
- Creating and delivering sales presentations, business reviews, and product recommendations effectively.
- Ensuring a high professional level of customer service is maintained via resolution of complaints, troubleshooting product supply chain problems, client visits, industry networking, participating in trade shows, training to distributor's sales network, etc.
- Interfacing with relevant functions of the parent company (R&D and Marketing mainly) deals with the development of products dedicated to your country.
- Responsible for the strategic direction of the sales team in the assigned territories by defining the optimal way to increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships.
- Responsible for delivering targets and KPI for the sales team in the assigned territories.
- Managing direct reports, which includes recruiting and training of all staff.
- Directing Commercial and Technical in the presentation of the Product Range through the use of Marketing and Trade Marketing supports (internal and of the parent company).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in any relevant field.
- Excellent knowledge of at least 3 of Unigrà's reference channels: Industrial, Bakery, Food Service, Retail, and Gelato.
- At least 12/15 years experience in the Commercial / Marketing / R & D sector in the Bakery, GDO, or Food Service channels.
- English speaking is prioritized. Italian speaking will be an added advantage.
- Proven creativity in prospecting, opening, and growing account base.
- Proficiency in sales and full knowledge of the product line and its applications.
- Special Knowledge Expertise, Flexibility – mastery of the foodservice and bakery market body of job-related knowledge and adapts to and works effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, or groups.
- Business acumen and demonstrated quantitative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as well as an effective team member.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree in HRM, psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience;
5+ years relevant experience in Human Resources;
Track record in managing talent and organization development programs;
Possess excellent facilitation skills;
Familiarity with performance management in the scope of human resource;
Ability to problem solve through analytical skills, critical thinking, and reasoning;
Ability to coach and mentor others;
Ability to communicate and engage all stakeholders effectively.
