Job Responsibilities
This role is responsible for leading the B2B sales initiative for Hong Kong. You will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing new B2B clients in the territory via cold calls, walk-ins, emails, and in-person meetings.
You will also oversee B2B accounts directly and strategize on how to build strong relationships and grow our portfolio in Hong Kong. You will work closely with local market and HQ management to ensure priorities are aligned with local and global Deliveroo goals.
You will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in Hong Kong.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, decision-makers, and other influencers.
- Maintain accurate records of sales interactions, including contacts, meetings, and follow-ups.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the creation and execution of sales initiatives.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Fluent Cantonese and English language skills.
- 3-5 years of B2B business development experience, ideally in an environment where you have been a hunter via cold calls, walk-ins, emails, and in-person meetings to hunt down new accounts.
