Job Description

This role is part of our Client Services Team, covering Credit and Public Equity, Private Equity, and Consulting Clients. You'll be responsible for driving relationships by enabling clients to connect with industry experts.

Your initial training period will focus on honing skills in targeting, sourcing, and screening relevant industry specialists. Afterward, you'll advance to managing your own book of business composed of major Public Equity and Credit investment funds.

You'll spend most of your time on the phone with clients to understand their needs and with industry specialists to find the perfect match.

Responsibilities

  • Understand client needs and identify relevant experts who can help them.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by being a fast, responsive, thoughtful, and proactive research partner.
  • Engage with industry experts through phone calls and professional correspondences to determine if they're the right fit.
  • Cold-call potential experts who uniquely match project requirements.
  • Execute multiple projects simultaneously, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing client requests.
  • Negotiate and persuade experts to connect with clients at short notice while adhering to our compliance framework.
  • After 4-5 months, you'll drive the long-term performance of your book of business by understanding client research needs and monitoring how our content can best support them.

Qualifications

We look for individuals with strong academic credentials and/or extensive experience in client-facing roles. The work is fast-paced, so you'll need to organize your time well, have great attention to detail, and adhere to our compliance framework.

You'll build relationships with Public Equity clients and industry experts across various industries and seniority levels, requiring excellent communication skills and adaptability.

The projects span a wide variety of industries and geographies, and you'll need to understand these at a high level. An interest in financial markets and the environment that our clients operate in is essential.

We prioritize teamwork, continuous professional development, and open communication. A degree and strong academic credentials are preferred.
