Citi is a global bank that offers a wide range of financial services. As an APAC Securities Services Client Executive, you will be part of our Institutional Sales team, responsible for delivering superior client satisfaction and enhanced financial results.

Job Description

The primary role of the Client Executive is to coordinate internal resources to ensure that service provided to our clients is of the highest quality and that client satisfaction levels are high.

You will serve as the clients' advocate within Citi, understanding key business needs and working with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value for our clients and cross-selling Execution Services products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client satisfaction and enhanced financial results through the management of service/operational issues impacting target clients.
  • Identify clients' business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value and cross-selling Citi products.
  • Perform regular service reviews and develop action plans to address issues/deliver solutions as well as perform regular face-to-face client meetings.
  • Coordinate internal resources.
  • Coordinate and ensure client participation in external surveys and incorporate survey results.
  • Lead strong governance and controls.
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation.
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you.
  • Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including sales teams, product specialists, and operational teams.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably with HKMA Type 1 license.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills.
