Job Summary

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Cargo Sales team, you will play a vital role in driving revenue and utilization of short-term capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Enquiries and Booking
    • Proactively interact with customers and interline partners to sell short-term offers and maximize revenue and tonnage performance of assigned sales area.
    • Handle incoming calls from internal and external customers on cargo enquiries and requests.
    • Coordinate the booking process of special products such as Priority Lift, Expert Lift, DG Lift, Secure Lift, Pharma Lift, Live Animal Lift, E-commerce, etc., and conduct effective flight planning.
    • Handle booking queue for the flights of the assigned sales area.
  • Station-Level Space Optimization
    • To fully optimize available space by reshuffling allocation and grasping ad-hoc opportunities in the market.
    • Provide pre-trimming information to load control for Cargo-On-Pax (COP) flights/passenger flights and prepare e-load plan for all outgoing flights ex HKG.
  • Indoor Sales Support
    • Gather information on market intelligence to Indoor Sales Coordinator and Outdoor Sales.
    • Perform administrative duties and provide support on agent performance reviews.
    • Deliver high standard of customer services by monitoring cargo inventory and provide service recovery options.
    • Consolidate customers' feedbacks for service recommendations.
    • Support the implementation of new initiatives or projects.
    • Provide on-the-job training for short-term secondment from other departments.
    Requirements
    • Minimum HKCEE/HKDSE qualifications, with at least 5 subjects passed including English language, or equivalent.
    • Minimum 1 year of airline working experience, preferably gained from cargo operations.
    • PC literacy including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge with Champ's CargoSpot and CTO's WOS systems will be an advantage.
    • Good in analytical and numerical reasoning, with sound knowledge in the usage of Automated Sales Platform, GLS's EzyCargo, Envirotainer Portal, and Qilkview (Insight).
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient in written and spoken English. Ability to speak Mandarin is preferred.
    • Good team player and willing to work under deadline.
    • Able to perform shift duties including weekends and public holidays.
    • Willing to work overtime on a need basis will be an advantage.
