Job Description

The Marketing and Community Engagement Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow the community. Key responsibilities include managing social media channels, communicating with members, planning community events and initiatives, and building partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy according to objectives and budget.
  • Manage social media channels, including WhatsApp community channels, social media channels, and newsletter.
  • Communicate with members on community updates, event invitations, new invoicing and booking policies, resources from the ecosystem etc.
  • Plan and launch community events and initiatives to create connections between members of different organizations.
  • Build partnerships with event partners, sponsors, vendors, and community members.
Requirements and Preferences
  • Fluent in both Cantonese and English. The ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
  • We welcome people of all educational backgrounds and experiences.
  • 2+ years working experience with increasing responsibility in leadership roles.
  • Experience managing corporate communications and events coordination.
  • Experience with event marketing and sales.
  • Passion for social entrepreneurial communities and love working with people is a must.
  • Driven, high executional power, proactive, committed, curious, fast pace, people-connector, adaptable.
  • High-level ethics, empathy, and dependability.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Basic video editing & graphic design skills.
  • Webpage management (WordPress).
