Job Overview

HKMC Annuity Limited seeks a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert to join its team as a Chief Security Risk Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's IT systems and solutions are secure from potential threats.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Advisory: Provide professional advice on IT solutions and systems from a risk perspective.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in implementing new regulations related to Cyber Security and IT control.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct security and cloud risk assessments on systems and/or technical controls to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Risk Management: Maintain a Security Risk Register and communicate identified risks and impacts with stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other subject matter experts on security assessment and oversee penetration testing and threat intelligence simulation attacks.
  • Incident Handling: Provide support and timely advice for IT incident handling management.
  • Policies and Processes: Review and update security policies and operations processes periodically for security control enhancement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Risk Management or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in information security, security risk or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment of the insurance or financial services industry, particularly in relation to IT requirements.
  • An in-depth understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with experience in securing cloud environments (e.g., Azure & AWS).
  • A solid understanding of application security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment and secure deployment methodologies.
  • A proven track record in leading and implementing successful information security initiatives.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, OSCP, CEH, ISO 27001, NIST) is an advantage.
