Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Risk Evaluator to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all aspects of risk in day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and Manage Risk: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with investment activities.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Collaborate with the investment team to ensure adherence to investment mandates and risk policies.
  • Audit and Compliance: Ensure achievement of audit and compliance requirements, prepare risk reports as needed.
  • Counterparty Relationships: Act as primary point of contact with global counterparties to maintain good relationships, address business concerns, and explore further opportunities.
  • Performance Evaluation: Improve evaluation frameworks and enhance internal systems to better evaluate counterparties' performance.
  • Project Management: Lead projects related to counterparty onboarding, due diligence, and incident investigation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Compile and prepare materials such as risk reports, presentations, etc.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering disciplines.
  • Work Experience: Working experience in finance or investment areas, understanding of cash equity trading or security lending would be an advantage.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Good knowledge of risk management and internal audit practices, strong team interpersonal skills, and proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in Mandarin is preferred.
