We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Flight Operations team as an Assistant Manager, Flight Operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all flight operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.

This includes establishing safety performance indicators, conducting SMS activities, and implementing risk controls or mitigation measures.

In addition, the role involves making recommendations regarding risk tolerability, performing compliance inspections, and analyzing audit results.

The Assistant Manager, Flight Operations will also be responsible for managing and supporting the Line Operational Safety Audit (LOSA) program and coordinating with relevant managers and professional groups to define or amend policies and processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have sound knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS), IOSA/LOSA auditor qualifications, and civil aviation regulations.

You will also need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Role:

  • Responsibilities include:

    • Establishing safety performance indicators

  • Requirements include:

    • Sound knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS)
    • IOSA / LOSA auditor qualified would be an advantage
    • Sound knowledge of civil aviation regulations and relevant regulation legislation governing or affecting operation of the Airline
    • Knowledge of aircraft systems in correlation with prescribed Normal, Abnormal and Emergency procedures
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English; Cantonese and Mandarin are a plus
    • Proficient in computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Comfortable working and analyzing large amount of data
