Job Description
The role of Business Analyst for Listing Operations involves working closely with various stakeholders to define and document requirements for new IT systems and improve existing ones. As a skilled business analyst, you will analyze business needs, evaluate solution options, drive business solutions, and ensure that HKEX IT teams and third-party consultants understand the business needs to develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects/initiatives for the Listing Division, collaborating with project stakeholders across teams.
  • Analyze business requirements, assess solution options, lead business solutions, and prepare structured requirements documents/user stories.
  • Ensure that HKEX IT teams and third-party consultants comprehend business needs to develop suitable solutions.
  • Participate in defining testing strategies and plans, support testing activities, analyze test outcomes, and train end-users on the system.
  • Collaborate with internal users, external business parties, relevant statutory bodies, and listed companies.
  • Guarantee project delivery meets deadlines and project scope expectations.
  • Provide prompt system support to internal users.
  • Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline degree.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or similar roles in established financial institutions or client-facing web application projects.
  • Able to collect requirements from stakeholders, design effective UI/UX solutions, and convert them into actionable plans.
  • Practical experience in vendor and IT management, from project initiation to delivery.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills under both waterfall and agile methodologies, with knowledge of best practices and documentation.
  • Familiarity with the equity securities industry and financial industry.
  • Experience in AI-related projects.
  • Excellent technology, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
