As a key member of the Deposit and Payment Operations team at MUFG, you will play a critical role in managing the daily operations of our in-house payments system. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all transactions are processed, settled, and reported in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist the team lead in managing daily operations and relevant activities, ensuring smooth transaction processing.
- To participate in projects and act as representative of Deposit and Payment Operations, driving process improvements.
- To perform reconciliation of daily pending/unprocessed/irregularity transactions, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- To support in determining the level of support for new product offerings and managing risk profiles for the team.
- To investigate operational incidents/errors, prepare draft reports, and provide recommendations for improvement to mitigate future risks.
- To contribute to the development of the team's strategy, including reviewing and re-engineering current procedures/workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- To participate in ad-hoc exercises in response to auditor inspections and examinations.
- To maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within MUFG and externally, e.g., HKICL.
- To deliver high-quality service, enhancing the function's reputation and meeting customer expectations.
- To work in partnership with various departments, including Relationship Managers, Global Markets, Transaction Banking, Compliance, and relevant stakeholders to consult on complex transaction issues.
