We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Hong Kong Retail Territory Business Development Manager.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and maximizing value extraction in their assigned territory. This includes providing business analysis and recommendations, conducting site visits, and implementing strategies to improve retail operations and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve sales and revenue targets;
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, provide coaching and guidance, and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform business decisions;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align business objectives and drive results;
- Manage relationships with site operators, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with company policies;
- Provide training and support to site operators and staff to enhance their skills and knowledge;
- Liaise with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional activities that drive sales and brand awareness;
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and inform future strategies;
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree from a recognized university;
- Proven experience in retail or business development, preferably in the oil and gas industry;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing circumstances;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
