Job Summary

The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups is seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to provide secretarial support to the Secretary-General and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Secretary-General and Board of Directors, including preparing reports, managing company accounts, and handling daily correspondences.
  • Manage event planning and coordination, including logistics and communication with internal and external parties.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations, and provide data analysis and research support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, including filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.

Requirements

Education and Experience

A higher diploma or above in English/ Secretarial and Administration or any related discipline, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and English and Chinese word processing.

Excellent telephone manner, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Personal Attributes

Good time management, well-organized, detail-minded, self-motivated, and positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Selection Criteria

  • Candidates may be required to undergo a Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) if job duties involve frequent contact with children.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend a written test.
  • If the applicant has not been interviewed within 3 months, the application will be regarded as fail and information will be destroyed immediately.
  • If you are being interviewed but not admitted, the information will be destroyed within 1 year after the completion of the recruitment process.
