Job Posting Details

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's Graduate School is responsible for overseeing the administrative scope of postgraduate education. It partners with academic units and other stakeholders to ensure consistent policy and quality control over all postgraduate programs. This includes coordinating student recruitment and admissions, as well as providing oversight on postgraduate students' qualifications, graduation, and other related areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling student admissions and special schemes
  • Preparing guidelines, manuals, and schedules in compliance with academic requirements, policies, and regulations
  • Coordinating the development and enhancement of information systems to support admissions operations
  • Organizing student recruitment and enrichment activities
  • Developing and composing marketing materials
  • Conducting data analysis to inform outreach decisions
  • Providing secretarial support to committees
  • Communicating with stakeholders and handling inquiries

Requirements

  • A recognized bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English, Chinese, and Putonghua
  • Good computer literacy
  • A strong sense of responsibility
  • The ability to perform multiple tasks and work independently as well as in a team
  • Experience in marketing, social media, and project/event management is an advantage
