Role Overview:

As a Senior Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability performance in alignment with Fung Group's objectives and those of our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, data analysis, training for factories and vendors, and reporting on non-financial performance metrics.

  • Oversee and coordinate internal sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching sustainability goals.
  • Foster sustainability awareness across all organizational levels and address inquiries related to sustainability attributes.
  • Engage with external partners to ensure compliance with relevant legal and industry standards, as well as company policies.
  • Identify and manage environmental sustainability challenges and stakeholder interests pertinent to the organization.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to develop strategies for reducing environmental impact and lead the execution of prioritized initiatives.
  • Implement systems to track the progress of environmental initiatives and assess their effectiveness in achieving sustainability targets.
  • Support business units in establishing sustainability goals, oversee verification processes, and analyze data for corporate reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, sustainability, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sustainability or corporate social responsibility, with experience in supply chain partnerships being advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate environmental issues, including energy management, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste reduction strategies.
  • Proficient in navigating large organizations to secure stakeholder support for sustainability initiatives.
  • Expertise in environmental footprint calculation methodologies and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing sustainability solutions within supply chains and managing environmental programs against established KPIs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams across various regions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to engage senior leadership and key external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in multitasking and maintaining composure under pressure.
