Job Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber individual to join our team as an Assistant Sustainability Manager. As an integral member of our sustainability team, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our sustainability strategy, analyzing the latest sustainability trends and regulations, and gaining exposure to sustainability standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy, including analysis of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Gain exposure to sustainability standards and best practices through assisting in the implementation of sustainability regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Act as the team's key contact with ESG associations and educational bodies.
  • Assist in stakeholder management to achieve sustainable outcomes for the business.
  • Assist in prioritizing deliverables and project management.

Requirements

  • University graduate in a business discipline, preferably with exposure to sustainable investing/finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience from buy-side/sell-side research, ESG ratings agency, regulatory ESG or corporate sustainability role.
  • Possession of ESG qualification such as CESGA or CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing would be preferable.
  • Able to work collaboratively, breakdown complex tasks into manageable components, and comfortable presenting to an audience.
  • Strong curiosity and passion for sustainability in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of high-level programming language such as Python and Generative AI would be an advantage.
  • Competent in using Microsoft 365 including Chinese language word processing.
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Possess growth mindset and organizing skill.
