About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Sustainability Specialist to join our team at KPMG China. As a key member of our ESG Reporting, Advisory and Assurance practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients improve their corporate sustainability management and develop strategies to address specific sustainability challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Sustainability team in delivering Advisory and Assurance projects, including preparing ESG reports, analyzing ESG data and ratings, delivering training, and developing sustainability roadmaps, strategies, and policies.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of climate change and sustainability, staying current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and coordinate initiatives to improve the quality of Sustainability services, including training, seminars, surveys, and other activities.
  • Liaise with clients and maintain good client relationships, ensuring excellent communication and service delivery.
Requirements
  • A recognized degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in environmental, engineering, or other management-related fields.
  • 1-5 years of hands-on experience working with an external consultant on corporate sustainability advisory and assurance projects.
  • Good understanding of climate and sustainability issues, demonstrated through previous project experience, research work, or other relevant activities.
  • Professional qualification is an advantage.
  • Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
  • Traveling is required for cross-border assignments.
