Main Responsibilities

Fubon Bank seeks a seasoned professional to support the ESG Committee in developing and maintaining the ESG strategy and management framework. The ideal candidate will drive the implementation of climate risk management, including maintaining and enhancing climate risk scenario models, conducting stress testing, and providing support for climate risk disclosure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ESG Committee in developing and maintaining the ESG strategy and management framework.
  • Drive the implementation of climate risk management, including maintaining and enhancing climate risk scenario models, conducting stress testing, and providing support for climate risk disclosure.
  • Consolidate climate-related risk information from various stakeholders and maintain a centralized repository for the Bank's climate risk management.
  • Improve the quality of climate-related risk data.
  • Monitor and report on business achievements in green financing and climate risk limits.
  • Assist business units in structuring green loans and enhancing relevant processes.
  • Support ESG-related projects and other regulatory-driven initiatives.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from business, risk management, internal audit, compliance, or regulators.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainable and Green Finance, Environmental Science/Studies, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in environmental, ESG, risk management, consulting, and/or banking industry.
  • Knowledge of banking business, processes, and products.
  • Holder of Certificate in ESG investing (CFA), Sustainability and Climate Risk Certificate (GARP), Certified ESG Planner CEP (ICDS), or related certification.
  • Familiarity with international standards of climate risk/sustainability such as SBTi, NGFS, IPCC, PCAF.
  • Skills in managing large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with different stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).
