We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Assistant Sustainability Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the sustainability strategy.
- Conduct analysis on current sustainability trends and regulatory frameworks.
- Gain insights into sustainability standards and best practices by assisting in the implementation of regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison with ESG associations and educational institutions.
- Support stakeholder management to achieve sustainable business outcomes.
- Assist in prioritizing tasks and managing projects effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, ideally with a focus on sustainable investing or finance.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in buy-side/sell-side research, ESG ratings, regulatory ESG, or corporate sustainability roles.
- Possession of ESG qualifications such as CESGA or CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing is preferred.
- Able to collaborate effectively, decompose complex tasks into manageable parts, and present confidently to audiences.
- Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for sustainability within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Generative AI is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Chinese language word processing.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Exhibit a growth mindset and strong organizational skills.
