Freelance Translator for English Language Projects in Asia

SuccessGlo, a renowned localization translation company based in Asia, is seeking an experienced freelance translator to join our team. We have branches in Beijing/Jinan/Yantai, China, Singapore, Hanoi, Vietnam, and Tokyo, Japan.
We offer high-quality language services to Fortune 500 companies, international organizations, government agencies, industry organizations, and various firms across multiple industries. Our goal is to help customers successfully navigate global communication challenges through standardized translation and localization processes that adhere to high-quality standards.
To achieve this, we implement the LISA QA, SAE J2450, and MQM quality assessment systems. We have obtained ISO9001 quality system and ISO17100 translation management system certifications, and are members of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) and the Translators Association of China (TAC).
The Role- A native Chinese translator from Taiwan or Hong Kong with over 2 years of localization experience is required;
- Proficiency in using CAT tools such as Trados, Phrase, and others is acceptable;
- Willingsness to participate in a trial translation of 500 words is expected;
- We seek part-time translators who can work with us on a long-term basis;
- The company has a stable source of cases and can meet a large number of manuscript requests.
As a successful candidate, you will be working as an independent contractor, which means:
- You must have excellent writing skills in English to meet business requirements in English markets;
- You should be a good multitasker able to work within tight deadlines;
- You possess strong writing skills and attention to detail to ensure error-free content that complies with editorial style and guidelines;
- You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems;
- Your salary estimate: $30-$50 per hour depending on your experience and qualifications.
