We are seeking a skilled freelancer to join our team as a translator from Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) into English. This is a high-paying opportunity that offers the chance to work on a variety of projects in the Life Sciences sector.
About the Job
This freelance position involves translating and proofreading documents for clients in the Life Sciences sector. You will be working as an independent contractor, with the possibility of working remotely anywhere in the world.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)
- Specialized in any of the fields above
- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
- Asian time zone preferred
Qualifications
- A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or
- A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
What We Offer
