Job Title: Freelance English Language Translator for Life Sciences
We are seeking a highly skilled freelance translator to join our team at ProZ. As a freelancer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects in the life sciences sector, translating complex documents from Simplified Chinese into English.
About the Job:
- Translate clinical research protocols and other documents related to the life sciences sector;
- Maintain high-quality standards of translation, with attention to detail and grammar;
- Work independently and manage your own workload;
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers;
- Meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work within specified timeframes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or equivalent degree with significant translation training;
- 2 years of translation experience and a college degree;
- 5 years of translation experience and no college degree;
- Certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
