Position Overview:
The Global Sourcing Manager plays a pivotal role within the Global Sourcing Team at Hasbro, contributing significantly to the formulation and execution of the Sourcing Strategy and Supply Network for designated product categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Category Sourcing Team Member: Engage actively in defining the global Sourcing Strategy and designing the Supply Network for the assigned category. Responsible for the effective implementation and execution of the Sourcing Strategy and Supply Network redesign, necessitating a global perspective.
  • Supply Network Management: Conduct systematic evaluations of current and prospective suppliers through effective segmentation and tiering to maintain a robust supplier pipeline that meets current and future category needs. Lead the onboarding of new suppliers while ensuring ethical exits from existing partnerships. Ensure that Master Purchasing Agreements are established and adhered to, and oversee supplier compliance with Ethical Sourcing and Global Security standards.
  • Supplier Operational Excellence: Guarantee that the supply network possesses the necessary capacities, capabilities, and operational performance to deliver safe, sustainable, and reliable products and materials on time and at competitive costs. Facilitate competence development programs in Supply Chain, Product Development, and Manufacturing with clear objectives and metrics.
  • Strategic Supplier Management: Prepare and conduct Joint Business and Improvement Agenda meetings, Supplier Performance Scorecard assessments, and Business Review Meetings for assigned suppliers. Ensure that Structural Corrective Action Plans are implemented to address performance gaps and continuously enhance supplier performance through Strategic Business Initiatives and Competence Development Programs.
  • Integration in Product Development: Support initiatives focused on Design to Value and Manufacturing Excellence, ensuring supplier engagement and prioritization in development processes.
  • Order Fulfillment Integration: Manage order fulfillment processes, including capacity management and system cost reduction initiatives, ensuring supplier prioritization in planning and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and/or supplier management within a multinational corporation, with international exposure.
  • Possession of a Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.

  • Internal Impact: Develops and maintains a strong network, collaborating closely with Global Consumer Insight, Global Supply Chain, and Commercial Markets to drive performance and influence decision-making.
  • External Impact: Capable of respectfully influencing senior leaders at manufacturing partners and key suppliers to address issues and foster operational excellence in joint product development, supply, quality, compliance, and cost management.
  • Negotiation Skills: A strong negotiator with a focus on achieving results, capable of making tough decisions regarding personnel and external partnerships.
  • Execution: A consistent, hands-on performer who reliably meets Procurement goals, addresses performance or relationship challenges proactively, and implements effective solutions.
