Position Overview
The Strategic Procurement Manager is an integral part of the Global Sourcing Team at Hasbro, responsible for shaping and executing the Sourcing Strategy and Supply Network for designated product categories.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Global Category Sourcing Team Member:
    1. Contribute actively to the formulation of the global Sourcing Strategy and the design of the Supply Network for assigned categories.
    2. Oversee the execution and implementation of the Sourcing Strategy and the redesign of the Supply Network.
    3. Engage in global thinking and actions within the supply network.
  2. Management of Supply Network:
    1. Conduct thorough assessments of existing and potential suppliers, ensuring a robust supplier pipeline to meet current and future category needs.
    2. Lead the integration of new suppliers while managing the ethical disengagement of others.
    3. Ensure that Master Purchasing Agreements are established and adhered to.
    4. Guarantee supplier compliance with Ethical Sourcing and Global Security standards, facilitating the implementation of Structural Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
  3. Operational Excellence with Suppliers:
    1. Ensure the supply network possesses the necessary capacities and capabilities to deliver safe, sustainable, and reliable products on time and at competitive costs.
    2. Facilitate competence development programs in Supply Chain, Product Development, and Manufacturing with clear objectives and metrics.
  4. Strategic Supplier Account Management:
    1. Prepare and lead the Joint Business & Improvement Agenda, Supplier Performance Scorecard, and Business Review Meetings for key suppliers.
    2. Ensure that Structural Corrective Action Plans (CAP) are in place to address performance gaps.
    3. Develop Supplier Account Plans to enhance performance, Operational Excellence, and Productivity through Strategic Business Initiatives and Supplier Competence Development Programs.
    4. Escalate issues related to Quality, Costing, Supply Chain Security, Ethical Sourcing, Legal, and Finance to secure priority from supplier leadership.
  5. Integration of Suppliers in Product Development:
    1. Support initiatives focused on Design to Value and Manufacturing Excellence.
    2. Facilitate prioritization from supplier leadership for development needs.
  6. Supplier Integration in Order Fulfillment:
    1. Manage capacity and system cost reduction initiatives effectively.
    2. Ensure prioritization from supplier leadership for planning and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and/or supplier management within a multinational corporation with international exposure.
  • Holder of a Master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Energy & Passion: Demonstrates boundless energy and a commitment to achieving results for Hasbro, transcending traditional job roles and constraints.
  • Internal Impact: Builds and nurtures a strong network, collaborating closely with Global Consumer Insight, Global Supply Chain, and Commercial Markets to drive performance and integrate business priorities.
