Position Overview
The Strategic Procurement Manager plays a crucial role within the Global Sourcing Team at Hasbro, taking charge of the formulation and execution of the Sourcing Strategy and Supply Network for designated product categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Category Sourcing Team Member:
    • Contribute to the development of the global Sourcing Strategy and design of the Supply Network for the assigned category.
    • Oversee the implementation and execution of the Sourcing Strategy and Supply Network redesign.
    • Adopt a global perspective while operating within the supply network.
  • Management of Supply Network:
    • Conduct thorough assessments of current and potential suppliers to maintain a robust supplier pipeline.
    • Lead the onboarding process for new suppliers while ensuring the ethical exit of others.
    • Ensure the establishment and enforcement of Master Purchasing Agreements.
    • Monitor supplier compliance with Ethical Sourcing and Global Security standards, facilitating the implementation of Structural Corrective Action Plans.
  • Supplier Operational Excellence:
    • Guarantee that the supply network possesses the necessary capacities and capabilities to deliver safe, sustainable, and reliable products on time and at competitive costs.
    • Facilitate competence development programs focused on Supply Chain, Product Development, and Manufacturing.
  • Strategic Supplier Management:
    • Prepare and lead Joint Business and Improvement Agenda meetings, including Supplier Performance Scorecards.
    • Ensure that Structural Corrective Action Plans are established to address performance gaps.
    • Develop Supplier Account Plans aimed at enhancing performance and operational excellence.
    • Address issues related to Quality, Costing, Supply Chain Security, Ethical Sourcing, and Legal matters to prioritize supplier leadership engagement.
  • Integration in Product Development:
    • Support initiatives related to Design to Value and Manufacturing Excellence.
    • Facilitate prioritization from supplier leadership for development projects.
  • Integration in Order Fulfillment:
    • Manage capacity and system cost reduction initiatives.
    • Ensure prioritization from supplier leadership for planning and delivery processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and/or supplier management within a multinational corporation.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
  • Energy & Passion: Demonstrates high energy and commitment to achieving results for Hasbro, unencumbered by traditional job constraints.
  • Internal Impact: Cultivates a strong network and collaborates closely with various departments to align business and functional priorities.
