About the Role
The Vendor Operations Lead is a key member of the Global Sourcing team, responsible for leading the end-to-end new vendor onboarding process. This includes the collection of vendor profile information and documents, as well as the creation and sustainment of vendor data and documentation across systems.
A Day in the Life:
- Lead the exploration, assessment, setup and onboarding of new parent vendors and facilities.
- Track onboarding progress and prepare status updates for stakeholders.
- Communicate directly with vendors to request information and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop dashboards and reporting on key vendor metrics and risks.
- Partner with Global Sourcing teams to drive seamless onboarding.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in project management or operations.
- Strong knowledge of production, raw materials and manufacturing.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Smartsheet and Power BI.
- Able to work cross-functionally and interface with leadership and subject matter experts.
