Assistant Vice President of OTC Derivatives

HKEX is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our OTC Clear Product Development team as a Clearing Services Product Development Manager.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new clearing services and products, as well as executing strategic plans to drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Risk Management, Operations, and Technology, to design and implement new products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute departmental strategies and new business initiatives to drive growth and revenue.
- Formulate and write business proposals for new products and clearing services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement new products and services.
- Manage IT development schedules to ensure functional requirements are met.
- Work with Operations, Risk Management, and Legal to draft and amend clearing rules and procedures.
- Participate in working groups to ensure clearing members understand operating models and processes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Finance or a related field.
- At least 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong business analysis and project planning skills.
- Demonstrable experience in product development and management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Chinese and English, both written and verbal.
- Background in OTC derivatives and fixed income and currencies.
