Position Overview

In the role of Senior System Engineer, you will be instrumental in providing advanced datacenter services and solutions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing comprehensive and large-scale projects, coordinating both internal technical teams and external collaborators to ensure the successful completion of project objectives within the agreed budget and timeline, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

This position offers the chance to engage in Technical Proof of Concept activities, as well as to deliver demonstrations and presentations on the products and solutions we support. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Account and Product Managers by providing presales technical assistance and conducting in-depth product demonstrations for clients and business partners.
  • Develop and enhance technical responses for RFPs and RFIs.
  • Engage in solution planning and design.
  • Implement datacenter and hybrid solutions and services.
  • Provide training sessions for partners on product solutions.
  • Conduct client demonstrations and presentations effectively.
  • Manage and coordinate technical validation events (POC) and associated resources.
  • Address project challenges, review, and oversee project activities.
  • Advise on and influence market content.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
  • Willingness to travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of system infrastructure technologies, including Storage Area Networks, backup and recovery solutions, virtualization, cloud computing, automation, and container technologies.
  • Familiarity with vendor products such as HPE, Redhat, and Veeam is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with all management levels.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and attuned to clients' needs and concerns.
  • Able to thrive in a multitasking environment and manage a high volume of requests, particularly unplanned ones.
  • Competent in executing instructions and seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Certifications such as IBM DB2, Oracle, IBM MQ, AIX, MCSE, Certified Linux Professional, CCNA, or CCNP are preferred.
