As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our People Department as an Assistant Manager, Learning & Development.

About the Role

The Assistant Manager, Learning & Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating general training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce. This strategic position aims to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to crafting and implementing the L&D strategy for the head office and conduct the annual training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement.
  2. Develop engaging and relevant training programs, including online learning and face-to-face workshops for all regions that we operate, and source relevant faculty to run programs.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, providing regular reports and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
  4. Foster good relationships with key partners and stakeholders to ensure the quality of training programs.
  5. Evaluate and ensure that all learning initiatives and materials are culturally appropriate and aligned with the local context in the Chinese Mainland.
  6. Collaborate closely with different functional teams to align training programs with business goals and strategies.
  7. Partner with other Swire training departments to resource and potentially share materials.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.
  • At least 6 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in an international or multinational context including the Chinese Mainland.
  • An open mindset and eagerness to learn new things.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and capability to navigate different platforms effectively (desirable).
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English, with proficiency in Putonghua desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of HK$90,000 - HK$120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits such as medical insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
