Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a strong background in product management, preferably in the IP network and managed value-added service industry. You will be expected to develop new VPN and VAS products, manage existing ones, and collaborate with internal departments to define service workflows and support logistics.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new VPN and VAS products, including standalone products and VAS supporting VPN or ISP services.
- Evaluate market trends and transform them into marketable and profitable products.
- Arrange product testing with vendors and internal parties.
- Coordinate with partners and internal departments to define service workflow and support logistics.
- Prepare and update product pricing, cost calculations, product items and descriptions, service specifications, and product support documents.
- Arrange product training and provide product support to internal departments.
To excel in this role, you will require a university degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A minimum of 8 years of experience in the IP network and/or managed value-added service business is essential. Your expertise should include all product lines, such as traffic reports, WAN optimization, network performance monitoring, VoIP, video conferencing, and related VAS.
You will also need to possess integrated technical knowledge of network, system, security, and network management tools. Strong business sense in developing new products and excellent interpersonal skills are critical. The ability to manage and negotiate with different suppliers and partners is also essential.
