About the Role- Formulate overall product strategy and develop new product launches to support multi-channels distribution.
- Provide insights to channels to deliver various product initiatives in order to meet business goals of multi-channels.
- Oversee the development of new product concepts for all product lines to meet customer needs and competitive market environments.
- Identify opportunities and new product initiatives for different customer segments and multi-channels.
- Develop robust customer campaign strategies with excellence in execution.
- Develop business networks with external providers including reinsurance partners.
- Work hand-in-hand with Health & Wellness and Wealth Management Proposition departments to deliver compelling propositions.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as Actuarial, Operations, Reinsurers, LUSEB members, Agencies, Partnership Distribution, Marketing, etc. to formulate and implement various initiatives to drive the agreed business plan of product initiatives in order to meet the business goals.
- Ensure the product development and implementation processes comply with regulatory guidelines, Group's governance structures, and Risk and Compliance Standards.
- Develop career roadmaps for team members and succession plans.
This role requires a University graduate with over 15 years of working experience in the insurance industry, with product development experience being a must. Solid experience in product innovation, product development, and system implementation is also essential. Pricing experience is preferred, as well as all-rounded experience in business development, strategic planning, and project management. Distribution channel experience covering both agency and bancassurance is desirable, along with strong communication and presentation skills. Problem-solving and decision-making skills are also necessary, as well as excellent written skills in English and Chinese. Effective staff coaching skills are required.
The estimated salary for this role is around $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
