At TaiKang (Hong Kong) Preparatory Office, we are seeking a skilled Strategic Compensation and Performance Professional to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing our compensation system to ensure it aligns with our company's strategy and stays competitive in the Hong Kong insurance market.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in compensation and performance management. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing compensation structures, including base salary, bonuses, allowances, and benefits, to motivate and retain top talent.
  • Conducting regular reviews and adjustments of compensation to ensure fairness and motivation, driving business outcomes through effective performance management.
  • Cultivating a high-performing culture by designing and maintaining our performance management system, aligned with our company's strategic goals.
  • Fostering collaboration across departments to set performance indicators (KPIs) that support business objectives, ensuring seamless execution and communication.
  • Organizing and coordinating annual performance evaluations, providing actionable feedback and development suggestions to drive growth and improvement.
  • Analyzing compensation data, conducting market salary surveys, and ensuring our compensation policies align with industry standards to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Preparing comprehensive compensation analysis reports to inform management decisions, driving strategic investments in human capital.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the implementation of performance management, offering recommendations for improvement to enhance ROI and optimize resources.
  • Developing and managing our annual compensation budget, ensuring spending is aligned with business objectives and within allocated resources.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in compensation and performance management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and drive business outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in speaking and writing English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compensation principles, performance management best practices, and a passion for driving business success through people-focused strategies.
