Overview

The Worldwide Consulting Group is seeking a highly experienced Compensation Strategist to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing corporate reward strategies that align with the company's vision and mission.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is HKD 800,000 - 1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

You will have an ownership and oversight role over corporate reward management, supervising the Performance and Reward team, managing two corporate medical schemes in Hong Kong, and overseeing one Hybrid Retirement Scheme, one Defined Contribution Scheme, and two MPF schemes in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain a professional corporate reward framework that supports business objectives, is market competitive, sustainable, and attracts, retains, and motivates talents.
  • Oversee executive compensation and provide support on Remuneration Committee related matters, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Act as a strategic business partner and subject matter expert, working closely with senior line management and HR teams to drive new initiatives and anticipate, resolve, and participate in planning of reward-related matters.
  • Develop action plans on performance management systems, annual pay reviews, special pay reviews, and payment of performance-based incentives, considering local pay trends, pay levels, economy, and staff sentiment.
  • Formulate, implement, and review corporate long-term incentive plans, including share incentive schemes, to enhance staff attraction, motivation, and retention and align scheme participants' interests with corporate objectives.
  • Put in place an effective and equitable salary and grading structure, maintaining internal and external equity through job evaluation and market benchmarking.
  • Have an oversight role over the day-to-day administration of all corporate-wide pay and benefits programs, ensuring their effectiveness and professionalism.
  • Lead strategic reviews and oversee the procurement/renewal process of corporate reward/benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with best practices.
  • Represent the company in meetings with Staff Consultative Committee/Unions on pay and benefits related matters, building harmonious relationships and sustaining a positive staff climate.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration/Human Resources Management or relevant disciplines;
  • 20 years' human resources experience, with at least 10 years at a managerial level in reward management;
  • Specialist training in Labour/Employment ordinances, Corporate Governance, Job Evaluation methodologies, Survey methodologies, and Analytical skills.
