Team Head, Marketing & Promotions (China, shopping mall, property developer) | Hong Kong-based

The company, a prominent corporation headquartered in Hong Kong, is actively involved in numerous retail projects and initiatives across Hong Kong and China. They seek an experienced professional to lead their Marketing and Promotions Team as Team Head, overseeing marketing efforts for their prestigious shopping mall in China. As Team Head, you will report directly to the Department Head and manage a team of 80 professionals (China + Hong Kong) in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop branding strategies aligned with the corporate brand
  • Design comprehensive marketing and communications strategies
  • Organize year-round events, festive celebrations, and promotional activities
  • Implement social media strategies across various platforms
  • Lead public relations efforts, including media relations, securing media coverage, community relations, and engaging Key Opinion Leaders
  • Collaborate with business partners for joint promotions
  • Develop thematic and tactical promotions to capture market attention
  • Manage budgets effectively
  • Travel to China for business purposes every 1-2 months

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience within prominent corporations
  • Essential knowledge and prior exposure to the property and retail industry
  • Previous experience in executing promotional campaigns for shopping malls in China
  • Strong skills in team management and interpersonal communication
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin languages

Salary Estimate: Based on the job requirements and location, we estimate a competitive salary range of HKD $600,000 - HKD $900,000 per annum.
