About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Endpoint Support Specialist to join our team at Broadridge. As an Endpoint Support Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all duties pertaining to hardware, software, and network in accordance with defined standard operating procedures in a timely and accurate fashion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, networking hardware products, and phones.
  • Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems for a variety of end-users.
  • Recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repairs, as needed.
  • Document the work and provide "how to" guides to end-users.
  • Work with end-users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
  • Receive and respond to incoming ticketing system requests regarding PC and/or hardware and/or software problems.
  • Liaise with, and provide training and support to end-users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
  • Provide analysis of the current environment for ongoing hardware refresh while providing details to ensure inventory is available and to ensure smooth replenishment.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role of local and remote computer repair and system support experience.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Preferred Skills

  • Professional experience of local IT support but also remote.
  • Troubleshooting of Microsoft OS and server operating systems.
  • Microsoft infrastructure services (AD, Group Policy, PKI, SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM).
  • Mitel telephony administration (user administration, hunt groups, line groups, etc.).
  • Mobile Device Management (Intune).
  • Basic networking skills.
  • Good communication skills and team mentality.
  • PowerShell scripting.
  • Software distribution and/or packaging (SCCM, Ivanti, etc.).
  • Cisco Telephony administration (user administration, hunt groups, line groups, etc.).
  • Medium to advanced infrastructure knowledge.
