About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Engineer to join our team at Broadridge. As an Endpoint Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, networking hardware products, and phones.
  • Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems for a variety of end-users.
  • Recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repairs, as needed.
  • Document work and provide "how-to" guides to end-users.
  • Work with end-users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
  • Receive and respond to incoming ticketing system requests regarding PC and/or hardware and/or software problems.
  • Liaise with and provide training and support to end-users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
  • Provide analysis of the current environment for ongoing hardware refresh while providing details to ensure inventory is available and to ensure smooth replenishment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a similar role of local and remote computer repair and system support experience.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented and proactive.

Preferred Skills
  • Professional experience of local IT support but also remote.
  • Troubleshooting of Microsoft OS and server operating systems.
  • Microsoft infrastructure services (AD, Group Policy, PKI, SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM).
  • Mitel telephony administration (user administration, hunt groups, line groups, etc.).
  • Mobile Device Management (Intune).
  • Basic networking skills.
  • Good communication skills and team mentality.
  • Good to have skills: PowerShell scripting, software distribution and/or packaging (SCCM, Ivanti, etc.), Ciso Telephony administration (user administration, hunt groups, line groups, etc.), medium to advanced infrastructure knowledge.
