HR Rewards Specialist, Compensation and Benefits

Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective rewards programs that align with our business strategy and objectives. This will involve working closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and preferences, as well as staying up-to-date with market trends and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and maintaining the Bank's reward programs to ensure they remain competitive and effective in delivering our overall people strategy.
- Partnering with other rewards team members to develop, review and deliver cost-effective reward programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee value proposition.
- Preparing management papers and proposals for internal approvals, coordinating with relevant parties to ensure compliance with internal governance requirements.
- Leading regular compensation review exercises to reward good performers, attract high-calibre personnel and achieve staff retention purposes by developing and implementing performance-based pay plans and other incentive compensation practices.
- Partnering with Business HR to deliver appropriate reward solutions and policies in line with business needs and strategies, keeping abreast of lines' feedback via close work with BHR and maximizing the outcome of solutions.
- Leading various initiatives for HKMA compliance purposes from reward perspectives and coordinating internal stakeholder engagement/approval.
- Driving internal communication, with the objective of helping HR colleagues better understand the Bank's reward programs and policies, including preparing communication materials and coordinating with relevant channels, updating staff handbook, and conducting briefing sessions.
- Leading local market implementation and customization of group rewards initiatives.
- Working with other HR colleagues to support Hong Kong people initiatives and projects.
- This role would have opportunities to work with stakeholders in Hong Kong and other markets on compensation and benefits matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in rewards-related areas, preferably in the banking industry and/or with professional consultancy companies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge in internal HR policies and procedures within the banking industry.
