Fusion Worldwide is a premier global open-market distributor of electronic components and finished products. We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Specialist/Compliance Manager to support the development, implementation, and management of our APAC compliance program.

This individual will report to the Director of Global Export Compliance and Privacy in Singapore and be responsible for managing regional export compliance operations, including export case due diligence, denied parties screening, licensing determination, submitting license applications, proper product classification, and documentation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage privacy requirements for customer data and employee data across APAC
  • Draft the privacy policy and conduct data mapping processes
  • Review privacy clauses in contracts with third-party data processors
  • Understand and implement APAC privacy requirements into business processes
  • Drive the privacy compliance program in APAC
  • Interface daily with administration and sales organizations for smooth communication and order flow
  • Collaborate with development to build export compliance controls into our system
  • Support training on export compliance matters, including annual export compliance training and offsite training courses leading to export compliance certification

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of US and APAC compliance experience in areas of privacy and trade compliance
  • Electronic components industry experience highly preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or above
  • Proactive work attitude, self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and a good team player
  • Proficient in Chinese and English
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
