Job Summary

This exciting role will focus on increasing market awareness, leading local engagement, and generating new business opportunities in the Hong Kong newcomer pre-arrival market. As an RBC ambassador, you will add value in the moments that matter most to clients and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals as they plan to move to Canada to study, work, or immigrate as permanent residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead segment opportunity identification and collaborate with head office to develop and execute a market plan for the Hong Kong newcomer market.
  • Identify, map out, and maintain a network of decision-makers and influencers at prospects.
  • Proactively engage with prospects or clients, uncovering banking needs, providing help and advice, and identifying sales and referral opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional client experience and take ownership in supporting account opening and onboarding inquiries to achieve pre-arrival acquisition goals.
  • Collaborate with head office in developing relevant marketing materials and thought leadership to increase RBC brand awareness in the Hong Kong market.
  • Lead local market enablement, including coordinating various events, planning, logistics, presentations, decks, pre-post event communication, surveys, and feedback.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.
  • Create and foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to achieve a "Win as One RBC" approach, leveraging the expertise of RBC to identify referral opportunities and make introductions with appropriate referrals to RBC partners.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of deep and proven client-centricity, business development, and relationship management experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • New client acquisition skills, including pitching the value proposition, lead generation, initial customer contact, and cold calling.
  • Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment.
  • Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients.
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for success.
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices.
  • Ability to work all business hours.
