The Registry is a key central administrative unit of the University supporting it in providing quality higher education. We administer and deliver a broad range of student and academic services, such as admissions, registration, quality assurance, class scheduling, examinations, and graduation. The Registry is also responsible for maintaining student records and providing secretarial support to Senate and its committees, and are integral in the governing of academic regulations of the University. We provide aspiring candidates with ample staff development opportunities and a promising career in higher education.
We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Registry :

Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Supervise a small team of supporting staff in the provision of administrative services in the Undergraduate (UG) Admissions Team of the Registry;
- Provide administrative support to UG admission, including JUPAS and non-JUPAS admissions, and contributing to the enhancements in the area;
- Analyse admission data and performance metrics and prepare statistical reports;
- Liaise with academic/administrative units and external parties on admissions and related functions;
- Assist in system development, implementation of system enhancements, and maintenance of admission websites to suit the needs of admissions;
- Assist in the review and implementation of admission policies, regulations and procedures;
- Provide support to committee work; and
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Registrar or his delegates.
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree with at least 2 years’ relevant post-qualification administrative and supervisory experience; preferably in the administration and operations of student admission;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
- Good interpersonal, communication and data analytics skills;
- A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask, coupled with strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Good computer literacy and familiarity with the use of technology in administration;
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team;
- Strong commitment, ability to work under pressure and capacity to embrace new changes.
An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
